Prior to the two performances at the Schwarzman Center of The Comet / Poppea (March 23 & 24), YOST in collaboration with the Schwarzman Center will host a pre-performance panel featuring composer George Lewis and director Yuval Sharon in conversation with Yale faculty members Tavia Nyong’o (Black Studies, American Studies, and Theater, Dance and Performance Studies), Gary Tomlinson (Music/Humanities), and Kee-Yoon Nahm (Dramaturgy and Dramatic Criticism, David Geffen School of Drama), moderated and organized by Gundula Kreuzer (Music). The panel will take place on Monday, March 23rd, at 5:30 p.m. in Sudler Hall (WLH 201), in person.
